Full day tour along the south coast of Iceland and we stop by two waterfalls, a glacier and take a stroll on a black beach
The south coast is an instant classic with many things to offer. In our tour, do we stop by two waterfalls, one called Seljalandsfoss where you can walk behind it. The other is the mighty Skógafoss, believed by many to be one of Iceland´s most beautiful waterfalls. Also you get the chance to walk along the black sand beach of Reynisfjara and go all the way up to a fast melting glacier called Sólheimajökull glacier (you can touch the old ice). At cape Dyrhólaey you will have an up close view of spectacular ocean cliffs where the ocean is constantly changing the shoreline of Iceland. Where else than in Iceland can you stand behind a waterfall, touch a glacier and walk on a black sand beach during a 10 hour trip? This tours offers: • The Seljalandsfoss waterfall that you can walk behind in mild weather • Black sand beach of Reynisfjara beach with columnar basalt formations and ocean carved caves. • Cape Dyrhólaey and the view of Seaside cliffs (puffin season is from:15th Mai to 20th of August) • Lunch stop is at the small village Vik • The photogenic waterfall of Skógafoss • Glacier where you walk all the way to the glacier and touch the ice. NOTE: Short, easy walks on the sites visited. Recommended to dress warm because the weather in Iceland can change in the matter of minutes.
