The East Circle Passport adds a new dimension to your experience of Iceland. This passport will take you along the south and east coast and over the Kjölur highland road. On the way we stop at many sites locations such as Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot spring area, Hveravellir geothermal area and lake Mývatn, along with many villages and towns. The East Circle Passport is valid for one circle and you can choose which way you travel. Here you can find information about the bus stops and sites when travelling clock wise around Iceland and here if your travelling counter clock wise.
The East Circle Passport is valid from June 28th to August 31st for one circle traveling in one direction.
Please note that last day of operations for different routes is not the same. The opening of the highland roads depends mostly on the amount of snow covering and can be very wet after the spring. They are not opened to traffic until Road Control clears them as safe.
